Pharmacare was established to manufacture and distribute pharmaceuticals by a group of Palestinian entrepreneurs led by Mr. Subhi Khoury, a pioneer pharmacist who started the first pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Jordan, in 1962. The company is located in a small environmental friendly industrial zone within the Beitunia district near Ramallah.

The past few weeks witnessed the visit of an Indian delegation representing the Indian Ministry of Health accompanied by the Head of the Pharmaceutical Media Department at the Palestinian Ministry of Health to Pharmacare PLC. A meeting was arranged with the company’s CEO, Mr B. Khoury to discuss the potential horizons of cooperation among the pharmaceutical private sectors within both countries. The meeting was concluded with a guided tour within the various departments of the company.
